I visited the shop yesterday because I found an old VHS tape that I needed converted to DVD. I arrived at the shop at 3:30pm and they close at 4:00pm. I thought it was just a matter of copying from one format to the other. I was wrong. It is real time, so it took over an hour to copy.


Chuck was patient and stayed open while the tape copied.


I observed him tending to other customers and providing excellent customer service. He taught a young man how to use the old school video camera he was purchasing and reduced the purchase price when the young man didn't have enough funds in his account to pay for his purchases.


Additionally, Chuck's wife Ginny was in the shop as well. Ginny is turning 103 soon and I have never witnessed a greater display of love between two people. A couple of times they even got up and danced with each other. I WILL go back to the shop every time I am close by.


I felt blessed to be around Chuck and Ginny.

For the being the only camera shop left in Hampton Roads, you will not be disappointed. The store is filled with every type of camera you can think of plus more. Chuck is a very knowledgeable and kind person. He's willing to share some of his insights and provide advice if you need. I find myself coming here at least once a week and I never leave empty handed. I highly recommend you support a local and check out this shop
